RICOCHET INFINITY

When I played one level, the game has been crashed immediately and I've lost 7700 rings. Now I have 1100 rings.
Can anyone help me?

Have you been saving your stats.dat file? If you have the file when you had those 7700 other rings, you can just replace your current stats.dat with your saved one & all your rings, etc. will be there.

This is why it is so important to save the stats.dat file regularly!

Either the game magically started working again, or there's a step or two left out of this story.

The answer to your question might be found somewhere in the rest of the story about how the game started working again. And, by the way, as far back as Jan. 10 you stated your ring count was 1100. I don't think you would have been able to collect more than 6600 rings between then and now.

The .dat files used by the operating system by various programs. Working with the
.dat files could damage system.

I worked with Stats.dat file, my system is damaged.
GOM Player can view the .dat files.

In this post you are saying you've lost 7700 rings. On January 10, your signature, part of which is copied in my previous post, stated that you had 1100 rings.

I am talking about how you seem to go from 1100 rings in January to 7700 rings in March. That's a lot of rings in a short time.

What I DO believe is that you were playing with your stats.dat file back in January and crashed your game, leading you to run System Restore to get back to a previous state in which the game was working but your ring count was much lower. I also believe that from all appearances you seem to be hoping someone can help you find a shortcut or a cheat that will let you increase your ring count without actually playing the games needed to do so.

I am also saying that you don't seem to understand when people advise you to back up your stats.dat file, which is rather odd for a self-proclaimed computer engineer. If you would save a copy of this file on a regular basis in some safe place, you would never lose that many rings again because you could use the backup copy to restore your missing ring count and score.

Well, mhispider, ChicagoFats is not sure whether you earned the rings the legal way or not. He says "if you play with your stats.dat file, it's likely to go wrong."

Anyway, his other point of view is "you could also want a shortcut for getting the rings easily".

I'm not sure whether you cheated or not, but losing 7700 rings is quite strange. If you didn't save your stats.dat somewhere else, you are most likely to start over again. I'm sorry.

Ricochet Infinity is 1D because the playerships, balls, bricks, backgrounds, PUs and other items looks like
a paper.

There is a difference between saving the stats.dat file and playing with the stats.dat file. All experienced Ricochet players know to save their stats.dat file from time to time to prevent losing all their rings and scores in case the game crashes. And any experienced computer engineer - you did say you're a computer engineer, right? - knows that trying to modify a .dat file is a bad idea.

No one can understand why you keep complaining about the good advice people are giving you. If you don't like this game or this forum, by all means leave. Please. Your attitude stinks.

I will install Ricochet Infinity again.
My current rank was: Grand Master of Infinity, PLATINUM Staff, Tier II in Mon Mar 12, 2012 and when I played one level from a level set, the level has been crashed immediately and my golden rings has been jumped to 1100 and my current rank is: Grand Master of Infinity. I don't know why my golden rings is 1100.
Now I have: 1214 golden rings.
If my current rank was G.M.I, PLATINUM Staff, Tier II and I got the next rank, I get the green #26 playership!

Your Golden Rings went back to 1100 when you crashed the game and used system restore to return to a previous version. You told us that yourself. And a number of people have advised you to save your stats.dat file, but apparently you were asleep in computer engineering school when they tried to teach you how to save files, so you're out of luck. Your constant complaining and meaningless posts are consuming bandwidth on the forum servers that could be put to better use.

ChicagoFats, if he obviously ignores us, then it's no use telling the same things all over again to him...

Heh.eh... System Restore cannot restore my 7700 golden rings... And it says 'Undo Incomplete'.....
