Thanks BigMama for coming up with such a brilliant and creative idea for a set and co-ordinating the many drafts and comments that accompanied each draft. I felt honored to be asked to be part of this, even if my contributions were only brick and vector artwork. I think the set rocks :!: It has tons of variety and I think everyone who created levels did a teriffic job. :D

Mindreader totally was a mystery to me at first sight, but once I figured out the game (thank you Shaz) it is one of my favorites as each time you play it, you will be playing a new game. That takes some pretty impressive scripting. :)

Thanks Alf for the tip with scoring goals against Rico, I had just been going through the fast pu's over and over until my ball was moving faster than the blocker was, that works too. :)

The slide puzzle was hard at first but once you get the feel of how to move the puzzle pieces around and do it a few times it gets a lot easier. Trust me I have played it more than a few times.

Thanks everyone for their comments, we have been eagerly awaiting feedback. :D

For the hockey round I aimed for the right corner and it pushed it's way passed the deflector. I got it in about 7 tries. The slider one is impossible - I can't do them even in real life. :?

I can sympathize with players who have had a hard time with the Mindreader and Square Deal levels (my comments on the Square Deal level always started with "I suck at this type of game" ). BUT - Mindreader has now become one of my very favorite games (I've probably played it 50 times now  ) and perseverence paid off and I finally won the SD level and it was all worth it. For people having problems with Mindreader, I recommend that you start with just 4 colors and watch for those lovely white edges around the colors to tell you it's right.

The level and complexity of scripting in this set is absolutely incredible and I think it pushes the boundaries of the game and I amazed at the skills of the designers who did that work. It was a joy to work with each and every one of you and special thanks to BigMama for the idea, for coordinating the set and for putting up with all the personalities involved. I can hardly wait to see the next installment!

Well I have completed all except the hockey and square deal.
I LOL at you Hoddi for saying "I suck at this..."
Squares is impossible.
At least for me.
It's too frustrating to even try anymore. It's not even fun to keep trying. I'm moving on.
Hey I got 100% of the rings and I can live with that.
So I loved 18 out of 20 of the levels, that's pretty good! :D

Plum, you can get a goal by Rico if you shoot straight down one side making sure to hit both speed accelerators. You should have seen it when it was first put together. The blocker hardly moved and it was no challenge at all to get 5 points. Now you have to work at it a bit...lol. You'll get there. But hey! 18 out of 20 is not bad at all.

I hope everyone noticed that we have a new commenter in the group now!!! Yeah!!!! Welcome Inkyfinger! We are so happy that you've joined the forum and that you posted. It helps authors and players alike to see what others think about sets. I hope that you will continue to post your thoughts on the sets you play!!!

Josef L I hope you eventuall get the crabby jigsaw. Once I got the movement down, I was able to play this very quickly. It's a really neat level.

Rico-rocker2, I take the fact you'd like to be included in future sets as a complement. I'm glad you like this set.

polarbiker, all I can say here is WOW and thank you for stating that we are among the top designers. What a wonderful complement!

Happysis68, I am positive you will figure out Mindreader. When you do, you will love it! And a fun set to play is music to our ears.

Allecnarf, I live for the day you get the square deal level. Be sure to let us know when you get it!

Last, to all you Gamebusters...It appears the verdict is in. We will have to make a sequel. LOL

I too, want to thank BigMama and the rest of the crew because when BigMama PMed everyone about being apart of this master piece I forgot about the inbox and didn't notice the PM until about 2 1/2 weeks ago. She graciously and the rest of the crew still allowed me to be apart of this even that late in the making of this set.

It has been an honor and a privilege to have worked (and hopefully work in the future) with the finest creators and artists that has become so well known for their work today. So BIG thanks to you BigMama and thanks to you all: Alf, Hoddi, Shaz, Glory Bee----Maniac Mike, Sloop, and Steve. :D =D>

This was a fun set to play..until I got tp level 11...Mindreader, which I didn't understand. Will no doubt go back later to figure out what to do. I'm not to swift on following instructions when it comes to playing games.

Went back to finish this set. Although I didn't complete level 11 or level 12, I did get all the rings on the other levels. Hope you all will be making more sets.

I don't post much, mainly because I'm too busy playing the game.

This set rocked. It took a little over an hour to complete the 20 rounds, but what fun. Creative, imaginative, entertaining, and wonderful game play. Thanks ever so much, folks. Collaborations like this... well, what can I say but, MORE!

I completed the crab puzzle but the ball never leaves its position in the top right corner when it is completed , am I missing something since recall and fire do nothing unless I press them together to end the level?

The last piece to go into the puzzle should be in the top right-hand corner.
Once it is in position, your ship should end up getting loads of speed-up powerups which should take your ball speed up to about 40ish and also some additional speed-ups drop so you can select how fast you want your ball to go.
I really can't suggest anything for you except to try it again.
I really, really hope you get it to work ok and hope it is not a bug.
If it does happen again, can you take a screenshot and send it to me? Just send me a Private Message and I will gladly try to help.

This is an amazing collection of Ricochet levels. The games are fun and unique compared to the normal brick bashing. The use of canvas art was exactly what I had always hoped people would use it for. The scripting is very impressive. I didn’t know some of those things were possible. Now I wish I had included a real scripting language interpreter like Java Scrip, Lua or BASIC. It would have made some of these levels a lot easier to make. But I never expected people would try to use Ricochet to make other games like this.

Read job everyone. Thank you for making such an amazing set of levels.

Nice to see another first time poster in our forum. And Yes, degoat posting your comments here is posting to the authors and others to see what is said about the set. We welcome all users to comment on all sets created by all.
