I don't get notification on anything, but I'm not subscribed to anything, so I hardly know whether the issue would happen for me or not.

You can't assume that just because dozens of people haven't answered, it means nobody else is having the problem but you. Maybe they do have the issue but it just doesn't bother them.

Have you tried those few suggestions I gave you via PM the last time you contacted me? I think I said the results of those tests might give us a couple of specific things to look into. But I've not had any response detailing your results.

Yes my dear..I've tried everything, BUT nothing works..Thanks anyway. I know you tried to help. Thanks for responding.

So, you created a new account, using a different email address? Was it still with your current ISP (the bit after the @ was the same as the email address on your current account)? If that's the case, then I bet they (your ISP) are filtering it and sending it to some spam bucket and you never even hear about it happening.

But you said you HAVE looked at your email via webmail and checked the blacklists, whitelists, spam, trash, whatever they have on their server that could be stopping it from coming through?

I would find a notification that has come through (if you keep them that far back), then contact your ISP and tell them about your problem. Give them the email address that the notifications come from, and ask them to check and see if there's anything on THEIR side that would be stopping it coming through. If you're paying them for your internet access, then they SHOULD just handle that as a standard customer service issue, and take a look at it for you.

I'm almost certain that at one stage, there was a very brief period when email from Reflexive's servers was flagged as spam by a LOT of ISPs (it might have been when the servers were moved from Reflexive to Amazon). It's possible that's what caused it to happen, and the effects have not been undone.

I'm sorry Shaz..I don't understand all this stuff. I'm not the sharptest knife in the drawer. I'm not going to worry about getting any kind of notifications...it's not with it. If I want to read any new postings, I'll just go to the Users Control Panel, and click on "view new posts" My notifications came from "webmaster@ricochetinfinity.com" I think. Thanks again Shaz for trying to help.

Throw money, not praise ;)

I'm glad you're getting them now - not quite as ideal a situation as we'd like, but much better than what you had. Happy to help - thanks for putting up with all my questions and nagging - can't have been easy to follow when I was speaking in what seemed like another language to you :)

You weren't nagging Shaz. It's hard for me to understand some of the simplest things, and I HATE it.

Sorry, I forgot to add, although I'm getting my mail through Yahoo, I'm not getting it through my IncrediMail, which comes through my web mail ??????@columbus.rr.com. I did get my mail at one time, but not now. I think it has something to do with a white list which I don't understand. I don't see anything in my settings about a white list. Does anyone out there use IncrediMail, and if so. are you gettings your e-mail notifications? Thanks for your answer.

Here are some pages I found that might help you out. The domain you'd want to add to the whitelist (approve) is the one that the Reflexive emails come from - the bit after the @

http://www.oeupdates.com/IncrediMail-Ju ... -List.html
http://email.about.com/od/incredimailti ... 061004.htm
http://www.ehow.com/how_6165521_disable ... imail.html

The second one looked like it had a pretty simple walkthrough, with screenshots.
