Who remembers the days of 8 and 16 bit gaming when you would replay a level in a game 10 or more times because you either died or you couln't the 5 special item in a level? Think Super Mario Brothers 3, Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda, A Link To The Past ... Games were a lot more challenging back then, and in many ways, more rewarding ...

Anyone who has played the classics and the new games of today knows exactly what I am talking about ...

Although the following games were great games, most players felt they lacked the challenge of days of old ...

Super Mario Galaxy

The Legend Of Zelda, Twilight Princess

The New Super Mario Brothers

Critics and fans alike, began speaking out and begging Nintendo to return to the days of old and up the challenge .... Nintendo Finally Listened!

Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario 3D, and the Legend of Zelda, Skyward Sword are all examples of this ...
and I am happy Nintendo listened and hope they continue ...

I just picked up The Legend of Zelda, Skyward Sword and I can tell you, the challenge is back and the days of waggling your Wii Remote without precision and killing enemies are over ... you now need to observe your enemy and make calculated strikes, because if you just waggle, you're dead!

To any fan of the Zelda or Mario series who feel recently they were lacking the challenge you needed, I assure you Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario 3D, and Zelda Skyward Sword have brough that challenge back and are must buys!

Funny, you put super mario galaxy 2 in the list, but I beat it without problem.
I got the game 100% completed. I did get my little sister to help me thought...

Yesterday I visited Game Stop and was tempted to pick up a 3DS because of the new Mario game ... but I wound up walking out of the store with PS3 Uncharted bundle with the 3D DOT GAME HEROS ... I just could not help myself ... had to get myself a Christmas present!
