Directions: Start with a word, and someone changes a letter, adds a letter, or deletes a letter, so it forms a new word.

You cannot add, change or delete multiple letters.
You can only add, change or delete 1 letter.

Letters MAY be rearranged after add, change or delete.

The new word may NOT be one of the four - 4 - previous words.

Two letter words are NOT allowed. Word has to be at least 3 letters long.

Proper nouns are not allowed. No names of people or places or acronyms or abbreviations or hyphens etc. No foreign words from foreign dictionaries. The word must have an uncapitalized definition in the dictionary to be an allowable word.

http://www.onelook.com is the decision maker whether a word qualifies as a word or not.
If it isn't there, it's not an allowable word.

The game is to see how long we can keep the chain going or how soon we can force it to a dead end.

Example: Truck -> Track -> Cart -> Crate -> Great and so on

like "Hey, you changed 2 letters. " Perhaps all are watched by her, too.

(I suppose I do sound like MsHB when I make corrections in this game. After all, I did take it over for her when she asked me to. Anyone playing the game can correct another player when a given word is wrong. It has to be done; otherwise, the game can really go askew. Don't feel bad if you get corrected. It happens to us all from time to time. )
