Blake - Yet another outstanding levelset!! Great gameplay and wonderful use of PUs at the right times. Some of the levels had some nice ring challenge added in, and all that made for a very enjoyable levelset, indeed!!

I'm ready for Mania #32 now!! Many thanks for sharing this (and ALL of your others)!!

This levelset was quite boring, actually. The powerups were the only nice things in this levelset, though they are not like the powerups in the game (they were very different).

Level 5 was extremely laggy so it was incredibly annoying to play.
For some reason... Level 9 didn't make any sense to us.
Level 15 had a nice patern but was quite boring..

Level 13 was the one that stood out the others.

C+ / C / B-
Some nice creations but it played too laggy for us. :(

Thanks YornYmro for your comments. Sorry you didn't like it......ANY of it but you are in the minority because of so many other players thought it did make sense.

We didn't say this set was bad, Blake, you really have some good ideas! This set was just not for us. :( It was too laggy (are we the only one with this problem?). And when the game starts lagging... well... there's no ball to keep in control.

I thought the game was a nice change from alot of the others we've endured in order to give an honest review.
Levels 5 and 15 did slow me down. Otherwise it was fun to play , and Blake was doing what he/she does best, IMO of course. The colors and effects were good, and my favorite was Level 14.

GO BLAKE !!!

I guess I don't know what you mean by "laggy". Was the set too slow or was it too easy :?: I never lost control of my ball. Level 5 is definitely easy because once you get the powerups the level is over within 30 seconds.

Thanks margarita for your comments too :) I'll try to see what I can do for Brick Mania 32 but it may be similar to this set but it will be different of course. I still want to use my custom powerups :!:

Oh, we're sorry. Laggy means the game lags, which means it slows down the computer.
So the laggy levels were the ones who slowed down our computer. :)

When the game slows down, it switches to slow and normal speed simultaneously. We can't keep the ball(s) in control then.

Ok, thanks for letting me know. I didn't have any lagging problems. Hopefully you'll enjoy my future sets a little more, if you decide to play them. However, my style of gameplay may not be your cup of tea.

Of course we will play a levelset in future! :D
One of your previous levelsets gave us the idea about custom powerups! You are a talented creator so we will, for sure. :D

I have not had the opportunity to play this set yet but will shortly. When YY speaks of Laggy, it is because their computer is slower than yours. The more bricks / programming / special effects, the more laggy for slower computers. I have a desktop gaming computer (very fast) and a laptop with a 10 inch screen. Obviously, the laptop is sluggish. I am currently working on a collaboration with Critter which has plenty of bricks and plenty of programming in it. I constructed it on my desktop but tested it on my laptop too. This sort of keeps me in check from over creating. Sure you can play it on the laptop but it is laggy in spots ... levels load up much slower and there is slowdown and frame skipping in spots. It is possible for me to over create on my gamming desktop and create levels that are close to impossible to play on my laptop. Even my laptop appears to be faster than some of the players desktops here. I realize that my upcoming collab will bog down the slower PCs, be a little laggy on below average PCs, and run like silk on gaming PCs ... I only hope that most players have moderate to quick PCs to enjoy it to its full extent. Now I'm off to play your set on my laptop and let you know how it ran......

Well Blake, this is the first set I played by you and I enjoyed it ... (I tend to be more a creator than a player) wonderful color, designs, and very special PUs in additon to plenty of variety.

I played it on my laptop and I experienced no lagging at all, I can only assume YY has a slower PC.

GREAT JOB!

Your are welcome Blake, I'll have to check out some of your other sets as well. I do hope one day you and I can work together, for a long time I have an idea for a level which would require some special programming with regard to the creation of new PU. I am way behind when it comes to programming though and would need the assistance of a great programmer like you to help me out ... Think about it and let me know if you would be willing to assist me.

Keep on rockin the world of Rico...
