Description by Blake: Here is my eighth set in my Brick Mania series. It's lots of fun, plus some levels are very colorful, and the gameplay should be interesting.

I still have not played Brick Mania 7 but I promise I will get to it eventually Blake. I enjoyed this set, very fast and easy, with some innovative ideas and very colorful with interesting backgrounds. My fave levels are: 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14.

I love it. Excellent set and fun all the way through.
Some of the backgrounds were a bit wild and sometimes made it difficult to see the ball but they were still fun levels.
The flowers on level 1 certainly had me fooled, I nearly lost my ball thinking it was going to bounce off something.
A pleasure to play!

Another very enjoyable set, Blake. It's good to see some of my favorite "decals" from the other games used so creatively here. Wild backgrounds, wild movement and scripting made for a fast, fun play - thanks for sharing it with us.

Thanks for the set. My favorite levels were L1, L8, and L14. I had a harder time playing some of them because the colors made it hard to distinguish between the bricks and the background. Didn’t care for that as a few of the levels were pure luck I beat them seeing any type of balls, L3 and L13. You had good powerups, and I LOL at having 600+ ions after L10.

Thanks again for playing Bigmama :!: I'll try to be more careful with designing my next Brick Mania set, which probably won't be until January of 2008 :!: At least you found it fun somewhat

Very enjoyable! From the hilarious "oink" of Level 2 to the innovative ideas & gameplay of L13 & L14, to the WOW finale -- I loved it all!

Thank you!

I’m working my way back through the sets, and came upon this one. Instead of playing it directly, I went back to unnumbered, and played your sets through in order. It’s kinda pointless to comment on all of them, so I’ll summarize here.

The Brick Mania sets form an interesting history of Infinity – the first couple were obviously explorations of the editor and the functions. With one exception (Brick Mania 3) the sets kept improving; the last three, especially, were wonderful and fun! It’s very interesting to see how your designs, scripting, and overall gameplay kept getting more sophisticated, better, and, well, more enjoyable.

Thanks for a great set of sets; I look forward to 9!

Thanks for the comments polarbiker and thanks for playing the series :!: Your're right about the first sets, because I wasn't very good at designing at the time :!:

Brick Mania 9 is in the making and is almost complete, so I will get it out soon :!:

Good set Blake. Enjoyed playing it. The "onik" level made me nervous, and had to turn off the sound, although it was cute.
